Finding things at Bible 101.org is made easy by two elements often overlooked in the search bar. The "Look for" drop down menu and the "Category" drop down menu. Here is how it works: Let's say that you are looking for VBS materials. The thing you should remember is that VBS may be indexed, but Vacation Bible School is most likely how it is indexed at Bible 101.org. 1. The first thing you would do is type in the "Search for" area: Vacation Bible School
2. Next you want to decide if how you want to search from the "Look for" drop down menu.
OPTION 1: If you choose "all of the words" the search will return all links with the words Vacation Bible School in any order scattered around a web site. In other words, the hits returned may include links to a School that teaches the Bible in Vacation spots. OPTION 2: If you choose "any of the words" the search will return all links with the words Vacation, Bible, and School. This means that hits returned will have links to webs that will have to do about Vacation and sites about Bible and sites about School. OPTION 3: If you choose "the exact phrase" the search will return all links with the words Vacation Bible School next to each other. In other words, the hits returned will only have links that contain the words Vacation Bible School together in a sentence. 3. Finally, before you click the "Search" button you might want to refine your search by selecting a category from the "Category" drop down menu.
Selecting "ALL" will return hits from the entire Bible 101.org index while choosing specific categories will only return hits from that specific category. You're now ready to find what you're looking for - click the "Search" button and get your results! |
